Company using trash-tracking technology to cut down on waste

“What happens is if you have an eight-yard dumpster going three days a week, you find out that dumpster is 70% or 60% full at the time it’s emptied, you’re paying for air to be removed,” said Peter Spano of Global Trash Solutions, a full-service waste and recycling provider and client of Compology.

This success story is in the wake China’s National Sword policy, in which they stopped buying recycling materials from the U.S. in 2018, and forced American businesses to develop a recycling infrastructure domestically.
