Ben Chehebar, Compology’s Chief Product Officer, discusses putting customers first and the value of developing integration capabilities to support specific customer needs.

Our industry is advancing and that means increased adoption of new, robust softwares and technology to operate more efficiently. Whether you’re a small to midsize business that wants to grow rapidly or a complex enterprise, it’s vital to make sure your systems work together as your operations become more digitized. Working with technology providers that open their APIs for integration provides you with the benefits of increasing productivity without complication, controlling overhead costs and giving you full access to data to customize to your specific business needs.

  • Get a consolidated view of your operations: Integration helps your business save time and resources by consolidating the necessary information you need all into one place, making sure your team is operating as efficiently as possible.
  • Avoid drastically modifying your processes: With processes already in place, integration helps limit the extent to which those operations need to be modified and reduces the likelihood you’ll have to hire or train someone for new software expertise.
  • Gain more control over your data: Access to the API also gives you direct access to raw data. Access to this information allows you to build custom reports and conduct data-driven analysis that are specific to your business. Additionally, this lets you more easily pull and share custom datasets cross-functionally or with external stakeholders.

We’ve always approached our product offerings from the viewpoint of the user, making sure that we’re delivering the value our customers need to operate more efficiently. While our software is highly intuitive and presents dumpster data in a way that makes it highly actionable, we realize that some customers have already built processes around their proprietary or other third-party softwares. We want to accommodate all of our clients and future customers who find value in our complete dumpster data offering. That’s why we’ve expanded our product line to offer software integration capability through our API, making our data available outside of the Compology app for the first time.
