Compology’s Next Chapter
by compology

You may have noticed things look a little different lately.
And you’re right.
We’re thrilled to announce our refreshed brand–one that reflects our transformation fueled by our company’s growth and valuable feedback from our customers.
This is an exciting moment for us as we mature; not only making room for expansion and new opportunities within the waste & recycling industry, but also fully embracing the pull into the industrial transportation industry as well.
Here’s a little more on why we rebranded and what this means for our customers and future partners.
Welcome to the new Compology!
1. We’re growing and expanding.
For the past 8 years, Compology has been building rugged cameras and sensors with artificial intelligence and providing action-oriented analysis in the waste and recycling industry. We’ve been deeply focused on partnering with some of the most seasoned waste haulers, brokers, national retail chains, multi-family housing properties, state & local governments and regulators in the space to create a technology that delivers real value in efficiency and sustainability. Here’s a snapshot of our growth:
- Compology has waste hauler, retailer, corporate, broker and facilities services customers across 43 states and 3 countries
- Compology has processed more than 60 million images through its AI technology
- Compology has more than 100 million data points about waste and recycling fullness levels, location, service events and contamination
- Compology identifies more than 100 million tons of contamination monthly
- Compology has analyzed more than five million cubic yards of waste
- Overall, Compology has grown at a rate of 10x every two years
2. We’re going through a transformation.
Leaders in the trucking, ocean shipping and rail transportation industries have also taken notice of our successful recipe. It’s been an extraordinary experience to collaborate with major industry players, new customers and partners to rethink Compology’s core technology as a platform that can now reach across several new industrial transportation applications.
For example, the same remote camera monitoring technology you’ve seen in dumpsters is now delivering truck trailer volume and floorspace data to improve utilization and maximize space for freight haulers across North America!
3. We listened to our customers.
We asked our customers in waste and transportation: what does Compology mean to you?
What we learned is that our customers want Complogy to help them do more and be more. They value our reliability and see us as a trusted partner delivering innovative technology that enables them to operate more efficiently to control costs and drive revenue and also be better environmental stewards and reduce their carbon footprint through improving recycling and diversion practices and reducing unnecessary vehicle miles traveled.
They also said our technology helps them solve even more problems than they originally thought, emphasizing the real value is in the actionable data and expert analysis Compology provides about their business.
It was also reassuring to hear that our customers appreciate us as a tech-forward company that drives innovation and change, but also know us as industrial, reliable stewards and experts of the industries and customers we build solutions for.
Hearing our customers and acknowledging our growth, we realized it was time for our identity to represent who we truly are and the value we deliver.
What this means for our customers
We’re still the same Compology.
